Windshield banner ghosting?

I removed the wimdshield banner, and now there is a ghost of of the banner seemingly stuck inside the glass. Does anyome know how to het rid of it?

X2 But I havent had good with elbow grease! I had a Tahoe and had stuff on the back window sold the truck and seen it about 2 yrs later. Still there! Good luck!!!

lol i thought this could only happen to me there was a cobra snake decal sticker on my hatch glass. I took it off and to my disbelief there was a ghosted image of it i could not get off, but mine is hard to see and i kinda like it so it stays:thumbsup1:

I've got one on my car too. Had a Holcomb banner at the top of my windshield. When I took it off, the rest of the factory tint had faded around where the letters were. Mines permanent, so I'll have to have a new windshield.

Well that sucks, I like the look without the banner a lot more than with it...
