First time seeing a GMP in person

So this morning a guy that works in our office brings in his gmp fox body he keeps telling me about. He owns an 86 convertible and also a gremlin, he's more of an amc buff. So he's showing me this car and I am just drooling over how detailed it is. He tells me that he joined the gmp club a while back because he collects model amc cars and they sent him this mustang as a gift for joining. He's showing me the ins and outs and I tell him gmp went out of business and how the prices are skyrocketing. I make a remark about how I wish I could afford one and how they are soooo awesome, he hands it to me and says Merry Christmas! Whhhhhat!!! I was so thrown back I couldn't believe it. I actually chuckled before realizing what was actually happening then said thank you ten times lol what an awesome gift

GMP made top notch stuff, and its a shame they went under. I have their FHP mustang. I'm guessing the problem was the diecast market is fairly small, and even smaller when you produce high dollar/highly detailed products.

1992 Mustang GT. It's Dark Grey correct? Looks a little blueish in your pic. They made a Wild Strawberry and Dark Grey 92 GT.

wellys look nowhere near that good. id have to say nothing made looks as good as the gmp.
