quick qestion about exhaust

the tube that runs from the smog crap into your exhaust pipe what do you do with that tube if you put and o/r pipe on your car?

I had an exhaust shop cut and fill in that place on my o/r x.

If you get headers with no emissions bung, just delete your emissions altogether, best option if you don't have smog checks anyway :thumbsup1:

A lot of them are ghettoized (that's a word according to my spell checker...???) and bent over themselves to semi plug it...

I'd get a 1" spacer and take the whole egr emissions crap off, delete the smog pump, put a yellow wire splicing cap on the egr valve sensor to trick it into thinking its working, there's a thread on corral about it, I did it to my 95 GT. worked great.

Anyway, delete it, or ghettoize it hahaha

OH you were talking about the X H pipe, I thought you meant the headers... Yeah just bend it over itself so its sort of crimped... I'd go ahead and delete the whole thing and pick up some used frpp shorties for cheap :p got my last set for 50 dolla.

Course, we don't have emissions here.

I removed the tube intact "just incase" and hammered a freeze plug in the hole with some JB weld on top to act as a sealer.

ive had small peice of hose plugged with a lug nut in mine for years.was a temp fix ,but it never has leaked so **** it
