I gotta sell my truck to help out some family memebers, so It needs to go. It's nothing pretty and isn't road worthy at the moment. Here's the info:
1989 F-150 Lariat 4x4 short bed, single cab, 300 straight 6 engine with 5spd trans. I'm not sure what the miles are and the title doesn't have that info either. This is a "work truck" right now. I use it to haul yard sell items and other things around the yard. I also take my sons riding in it around the yard and climbing the ditches. Other than that, it just sits. You can see that it needs a LOT of tlc. It's still a good truck though and can be fixed up.
Here are the problems it has:
No battery
Needs front tires
Needs balancing/alignment
Needs front brake pads installed ( I have brand new ones in the cab I may install this weekend)
Left front brake line has been cut and needs to be replaced.
Several dents in the body need to be fixed.
The motor needs a tune up pretty bad. It smokes and sputters some. I havent replaced anything in the engine bay except a air filter, hood light, and blower motor.
Could use new seat cover
Original owner lost the keys and destroyed the key cylinder and installed a push button, but new door locks were installed and I have the keys.
Latch is broken off the rear sliding glass.
Needs some interior cleaning
Hear/air does NOT work. I replaced the blower motor and still cant get air to blow from the vents.
Needs exhaust.
The transmission/transfer case works fine, but makes a clanging noise if your driving down the road. It shifts fine, just makes noise.
I think the passenger hub is not working, thus causing the 4x4 not to engage. The transfer case does work!
The speedo/odometer/gas don't work. The reverse lights are screwed up.
