I am in the process of swapping my car over from a procharger to a turbo. With that being said I have a few question, my tial 44mm wastegates came with an 11.6 spring does that 11.6 mean the amount of boost I will run on it. Also, my blow off valve which is tial also came with an 8lb black spring so does my blow off valve spring need to match my wastgate spring or does it matter. Any info will help I am new to the turbo deal thanks.

no and no

the blow of valve works against vacuum, its gonna open when you reach 8 inches of vacuum, no psi

the wastegate might be 11.6 but depending on the hot side of the turbo system, and exhaust backpressure and turbine wheel, it may open way sooner or lower

^^^ spot on infor

for example...i have a 46mm wastegate with a 12 psi spring in it...i will spike 13 psi and hold 11.5 psi in full boost...

leaks, piping side, backpressure etc play a big role in actual boost pressure

all of the above is correct.
depending on your funds, its good if you know someone who has a dyno, if your going to be doing an adjustable setup and or if your just wanting to see where your at on boost.
its easier standing beside the car on a dyno making sure all is working properly than walking around on the highway picking up your rods and piston pieces.
