351 Windsor Help

I just got a motor in a deal. Its the block, heads and crank. Any way I can tell what it really is? I was told ints a 351 HO that had a 4 barrel on it, that was rated at 300HP. Any help would be great. Thanks

what are the casting numbers and take a pic and post it up.

It's a 84 351 Windsor. What do you have planned for it? Just using the block? I know the heads aren't worth anything.

And the block isn't the strongEST out there. They are better than 5.0 block but there are better ones out there.

Ok so help me out. What would you do with it. I have the heads, crank and block.

Should I do anything with it or just crush it with the other bronco I am pulling parts off of?



ALSO. ANY WAY to check a tranny once it has been pulled out to see if its good?

I would sell them before I sent the stuff to the crusher, if your not going to use it. Might not get a lot, but a little is better then nothing.:yes1:

i agree, always try and sell stuff like that before u take it to the crusher. :thumbsup1:

i bought my 351w that im puttin in my ranger for like 350 thats carb to oil pan, but i got a deal on it, sooo.....

ive seen these late model 351's hold over 700rwhp,so dont worry about if its strong enough
