Getting out in the woods, no cell phones, sitting around the fire, hiking through the woods and spending quality peaceful time with the family.

Nothing better IMO.

Camping is tha shiz! It's been too long though. I went to Brevard college for a stint and we would go somewhere new almost every weekend. I think one of my favorites was Linville gorge. Good hiking and beautiful scenery! Gotta get back!

Never been real big on the outdoors other than to have a nice fire/cook/drink beer, but I do like the scenery that can be found, and I always love to hear about folks finding good spots and having a great time ! :thumbsup1:

I say we all meet at one of these parks one weekend for some R&R. I ain't joking either. We love camping during the cooler months and will more than likely be at one of these in October a weekend or two.

Anyone care for camping? When ya click on the links scroll down to the bottom left of the page and click on the "view photo gallery" and check em out. Victoria Bryant is really nice and very large but only has a few campsites. Watson's Mill is smaller with even less campsites but both are very peaceful, settings and both with water.
