Would this look okay?

I am thinking of putting black carpet in my 85. It has the grey seats and grey carpet right now but I wanna break it up a little bit. You think it will look okay?

Funny, I was going to ask the same question myself since my GT has grey tweed interior with black trim on the dash and the a pillars are black as well. Since I have no headliner and need one.. I was thinking of doing a black headliner and carpet but dont know how it would look with the grey seats......maybe we could start a trend Jeff lol..............

My .02 I think it would look good. It is better than the solid red Int in my car ~ which will be changed soon!!

Hahaha instead of black interior kits they will be selling two tone interior kits! Just remember kids you saw it here first on the SEFB!:thumbsup1:

If I had red I wouldn't think twice. Actually I plan on doing that to my red interior in my 91.

My 92 was gray tweed seats, gray dash, with black carpet...

in 04 hahaha

Actually first when I got it it had no carpet, then I put black in it... and black in the capri also but there wasn't anything other than driver seats and a dash in that car.

Yeah I am probably going to hold off on the dash. Mine isn't that bad anyway. I will see how the black carpet looks first.

i have seent he black carpet in several cars w/ a gray interior it goes nicely w/ the rest. you can never go wrong w/ black.

Here are a few shots of Brad's interior in his 90. Someone had started to convert over to all black, the quarter panel pieces and hatch area are balck, headliner still gray

I'm going to go with black carpet.....sat in a customers '07 Mustang GT.....had the red seats with black carpet.....looked good.

I am putting "03 cobra seats in mine, they will be black with the grey suede inserts and I am going to tackle the SN95 interior swap.... but here is another pic of the black/grey factory stuff......

yea i thought bout that in my 89 but then i seen one that a guy left the grey carpet and took the center console painted it black then took the redio mount and painted it grey i thought it look pretty good to
