SPT-1 SERIES NOW WITH WOTS System standard!!
The SPT-1 is the original Silverfox valve body. It is the first step to solving the annoying AOD shift overlap, early **** points, and sloppy or iritic shift firmness levels. The SPT-1 It has been a huge success. Every valve body is custom modified using our own parts – no off the shelf kits. Each valve body is modified to increase line pressure and provide full time torque converter charge with constant cooler flow and lubrication. Each unit includes several new or modified spring assemblies and custom separator plate modifications. These modifications increased wide open throttle and part throttle shift points in ALL gears – with additional custom modifications to help push 2nd gear to a healthy RPM (unlike many other kits or stock applications). Shift overlap and flare is eliminated and shift firmness is tailored to your desire and. As a standard baseline the SPT-1 is adjusted for a 5800 RPM shift in all gears at wide open throttle and retains the stock shift pattern.

WOTS System - The newest addition to the valve body allows complete user control of the wide open throttle shift point. Simply drop the pan and turn a screw! This modification is 27 years too late!!!!!! It allows you to customize your own wide open throttle shift point within an 800 RPM variance.

STAGES:
SPT-0: Slight Improvement over stock shift feel with all the additional mods
SPT-1: Firm light shifts with increasing firmness with throttle (typical stage for most stock/street applications)
SPT-2: Very firm shifts with possible traction loss (firmest stage suggested for lockup converters on stock shafts)
SPT-3: Consistently firm shifts through throttle range with traction loss (non lock converters or HARD shafts)
SPT-4: Consistently firm shifts through throttle range with traction loss (ONE PEICE input shaft only)

The SPT-1 can support applications up to 500hp.

Each valve body is also boxed with a new 2/3 accumulator valve and a new governor valve. The valve is critical for correcting gear ratio effects on shift points. A perfect combination for those running 3.73 or deeper! The SPT-1 is the single best thing that you can do for your AOD. Just ask my customers, they agree. It will bring a whole new life to your car.

SPT-R2 w/OD LOCKOUT
The SPT-R takes all the advantages of the SPT-1 series VB and adds a OD LOCKOUT feature. THIS IS THE MOST VERSATILE VB in the Silverfox lineup. The shift pattern is altered so that the user can command each gear separately and has a 12 volt solenoid for OD. No more “1-D-1 Shuffle” !! This VB can be shifted manually to higher gears while the lower gears remain auto function controlled with TV pressure. TV adjustment is as simple as hooking up the cable – delicate procedures are not required. The SPT-R can support 500 HP. Installation is simple and comes with the same easy to read instructions and gaskets. ONLY COME IN STAGE 3+ FOR UPGRADED INPUT SHAFTS. INCLUDEDS WIRE HARNESS. Switch kit not included.

SPT-MAC CONSTANT PRESSURE
Silverfox Performance Transmission Manual Auto Constant VB is a CONSTANT PRESSURE unit that has both manual and auto capabilities. Eliminating TV pressure modulation means no more worrisome TV pressure settings and more importantly the pressure will always be there when you need it most. Line pressure rise will be more consistent and quick to react in “off the line WOT situations”. Built off the SPT-R base, with OD lockout, the SPT-MAC is an effective street/stip vb designed strictly for performance applications over 400hp. Utilizing the TV system as a “kick down” style application allows this VB to maintain its AUTO functions. If disconnected, the VB will perform much like a manual vb and will not downshift with increased throttle – perfect for that day at the track or dyno. The SPT-MAC is only available in STAGE 3 or higher applications and can support up to 800 HP. Installation is simple and comes with the same easy to read instructions and gaskets. INCLUDEDS WIRE HARNESS. Switch kit not included.

SPT-MAC-TB CONSTANT PRESSURE w/TRANSBRAKE
Instant off the line release. The TRANSBRAKE we have developed has one of the fastest release times we have experienced with a simple valve body swap. SPT modifies the internals of our transmissions to help employ faster TRANSBRAKE release, but this VB alone has an impressive release timing using unmodified internals.
Unlike some other Transbrakes – Reverse acts normal and the VB does not allow the TB to engage in higher gears, so there is no lingering fear of possible destruction due to accidental use.

BILLET OVERDRIVE SERVO
An “A+” billet aluminum overdrive servo can be added to your VB order for an additional charge - shipped free of charge. The servo has an 11% larger apply area than Ford's big “A” servo. This is a critical upgrade for those experiencing overdrive band failure. It increases holding capacity and improves shift feel as well. This is a highly suggested upgrade for those with high horsepower and torque in large cars and trucks.

SPT-4R1 SERIES 1992-2004 AODE/4R70W
The SPT-4R1 valve body is the first step to transforming any 4R70W into a street/strip happy transmission. Each unit eliminates excessive shift overlap or flare and sloppy or iritic shift firmness levels. Every valve body is custom modified using our own parts – no off the shelf kits. Modifications include increased base line pressure, full time torque converter charge, constant cooler flow, and custom separator plate modifications. Unlike other VB suppliers, EACH VB IS PRE ASSEMBLED with TESTED ELECTRONIC SOLENOIDS and we only use 1998+ cores assembled to fit your application. BOLT IN AND GO!

There is a $20 core charge on the AOD VB and $75 core charge on the AODE/4R (only 98+ cores considered). Should you return your old VB in usable condition, I will return to you a check. Every unit is custom, and takes about 4-7 days before I ship.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Silverfox Performance Transmission warrants that all of its products are free from defects in material and workmanship, to the original purchaser for as long as you own the product. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. This limited warranty shall only cover the original purchaser.
If your transmission is showing signs of weakness (e.g. burnt fluid, excessive slippage, erratic operation or other indications of mechanical failure), this valve body will not cure the transmissions problems. In fact installation of this kit will probably only worsen the problem due to demand in an increase in the performance of the internals of a weak transmission. This valve body is designed to reduce slippage, increase life of transmission, and increase performance of the shift overlap and some lubrication aspects. However it can not replace any lost friction material or fix any internal issues. The following warranty is only valid for use on normal operating known good transmissions.

All instructions must be followed correctly. Any deviation may result in default of warranty.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY ON THE FOLLOWING:
a. Any product that has been physically altered, improperly installed or maintained.
b. Any product used in an improper application, abused or not used in connection with the proper parts, accident, contamination, electrical overload, improper wiring, etc.
c. Any product that is defective due to accident, neglect or unauthorized repair.
d. Any product where proper cooling and/or fluid levels have not been maintained.
There is no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. SPT’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of its products. There are no warranties that extend beyond the description on the face of this warranty. I will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages, property damage or personal damages to the extent permitted by law. I am not liable for any other costs or damages as a result of items covered by this warranty.
It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that all of the components are correct before installation. Proper assembly always requires that the installer measure all tolerances for proper clearances. We assume no liability for any errors made in component selection or installation.
Valve bodies are NOT TESTED and may be subject to influences that are out of my control. Though this is a rare case, please understand I will do anything in my power to supply you with 100% satisfaction.
I will accept unopened or unused returns at my discretion. Shipping and handling fees are non refundable.
