I found this on ebay with a starting bid of 99 cents and had a little over a day left with no bids! So I said ok 99 cents! And I won!!! I think it wasn't moving because of the color but I couldn't care less! It's a 79 cobra made in 1996

Fox body die-cast has become my passion. Being right now I can't afford the mods I would like to do to the vert searching and buying diecast has become just as fun for me. It's like Christmas when that big brown truck pulls up the drive. I even have two Barbie fox bodys (pink and teal) and I am on a quest to find a white one. Be careful... you start collecting and searching for fox body die-cast... it's like crack!

I have a friend who has the entire Johnny Lightning Mustang set from a few years back. All in blister packs and perfect. He doesnt even own a Mustang anymore. I will see if he wants to part with them.

BTW...I just remembered I have two HO scale Tyco slot cars that are Foxes! They are both '79-80 coupes, and are the u-turns...means they do a donut on the track in the curves and run the opposite direction on the track. One is a b/w trooper car, and the other is a fire chief (I think). They both have flashing red lights on top, and an annoying siren. I forgot all about them til just now!

Holy crap. I have 2 of these in Teal. One never out of the box and one I do have sitting out that is still perfect. Also a red and a black one. Maybe I should see if Hagerty will insure them, LOL. :lol1:
