I'm not going to race this car so would the bolt on sub frame connecters be suitable or are the welded type a better option?

I plan on installing a 3.73 gears soon, and eventually beefing up the engine, but nothing extreme.

I would go ahead and do the weld in type. Will be a bit stronger

Weld in is the way to go, easy to do, and no rattle to worry about when/if the bolts loosen up ;)

Welded, also make sure the suspension is loaded. A drive on lift is the best (not a post lift) you can use 4 ramps also to load the suspension. If your doing this at the house.

set each a-arm on a jackstand close to the ball joint and set the rear end on 2 jackstands and weld away if you don't have a drive on lift.

i had a local shop do up some weld in subframes for me for $125 ( i couldnt get the Maximum motorsports ones shipped to me for that much) and man is the car stiff. putting it on jack stands on unlevel pavement is a real pain...
