View Full Version : Possible Columbia,SC Group / Meet?

Hey guys - just wanted to see if there was any possible interest in getting together a group of SEFB members here in Columbia,SC??
I can see by the locations on some of the members profiles that there is a good amount of people around this area.

If you are interested let me know. Maybe we can possibly schedule a meet up. If any other members here are in a group in their area and wish to shine some helpful information on this, it would be greatly appreciated. :thumbsup1:

Wow! This is unheard of! LOL

I'm interested, but I have a hellish schedule. I'm working 7A-7P EVERY day until probably the middle of December at least. I may have the opportunity to switch back to night shift after the USC/Clemson game.

Oh yeah, and then there's the little fact that my dang car doesn't run. I just need to stab the distributor, set the timing, and maybe add a little oil to compensate for the leak. It shouldn't take too long.

In short, I'm interested, but actually showing up is a different story.

I'm interested. Don't have a fox anymore, but will be in my 2012. We had a shop day at rsw007's (Scott) house a few years back that was fun. You could bring your car and any parts that needed to be installed and you had alot of helping hands to get it done. Could do something like that again.

OK Guys,
I'm thinking we just pick a day after the first of the year and plan on a first meet. I think meeting before then would not work well with the holidays.
Shoot me a date and we see if we can get a consensus.

I have kind of a crazy schedule, so if we pick a couple different dates I can check to see which I'll have off. Scott works the same schedule I do, so I can check with him to see if he wants to do a shop day.

Well, my schedule just opened up abruptly. The job I've been on for the past two and half years ended about three weeks earlier than we had planned. Unless I get sent out of town before Christmas, I should be around. What about the cruise in at Big Lots on US 1?

I believe it is usually the second Saturday of each month which would put it on the tenth this year. I think for the December one they usually collect toys for charity, too.

What time would work for everyone to meet up? I'm thinking 4:30 pm? Then we could leave afterwards and go to diner? After I get some ideas I will post up another thread with all the official details.
