Well guys my car is gone for paint. I am going to look in to some suspension. So far my car has the hothkis ( Sp?) front suspension ( Shocks, caster camber plates ) It also has BBK springs not sure which ones but they are blue. It also has some blue rear shocks. This is not a car i drive a lot. I am looking for something that will hook up pretty well with out costing me a ton of cash. So what would be the best idea here is what i was thinking. Please keep in mind i am putting together my 331 with a single turbo set up. It will be a mild street car when i am done but for now it has a fresh 302.

Upper and lower adj. in the rear
subframe connectors
8 point cage
I am going to do the 5 lug swap down the road

Does it matter what motor mounts i go with i got some new basic ones?
What other bushings do i need to change out ?
Thoughts on the hothkis stuff?

That 89 hatch I had had drag springs in the rear and **** would that thing hook. With the drag radials it would take a 2500 clutch drop with little to no spinning at all. And remember it was super charged.

Eibach if Im not mistaken. Only complaint I had about them is they make the ass sit a little lower than the front.

Adjustable uppers lowers and shocks front and rear.if you can afford it go with the qa1 shocks but if not the lakewood 90/10 and 50/50 work pretty good.for a street car i would run poly bushings in the uppers and poly motor mounts.as far as a cage it depends on what you want.if you are doing it your self i suggest the wolf but there again if money is an issue go with the s&w cage.if you want custom give me a call.as far as suspension i like the upr stuff.it's great quality and chrome-moly.there is alot of stock suspension cars out there running low 5's and high 4's on this stuff.give me a call if i can help ya.thanks trai 864-993-6956

the hotchkins stuff you have in the front is fine, its a good start.

here's some other things to consider
-energy suspension motor and trans mounts
-baseline suspension upper control arms are the best, but if you dont race that much some steeda double adjustable uppers will be fine.
-lower control arms - steeda, MM, UPR all have good stuff
-strange 10 way adjustable shocks and struts. this way you can dial in your suspension. its not a daily driver, so these are perfect!
-weld / re-inforce your torque boxes - uppers and lowers. trust me, you dont want them ripping and destroying the chassis.

do you have the rear built?
whatcha using for a trans?

a 331 with a turbo is going to lay a hurtin on the rest of the drivetrain if its not ready for it!
