Looking at getting some BBK longtubes to match the x-pipe I recently purchased as was wondering which you prefer. How long of a life can you expect from the chrome before they start rusting? I had the BBK ceramics on my '02 GT and after about 2 yrs. they started getting just a little bit of surface rust around the collectors. Any pics of the chrome or ceramic that has been on a car for a liitle while would be helpful. Also is there really a big heat difference between the two? Thanks

I have chrome bbk longtubes and they started rusting in about a 1 1/2 years (but not real bad yet) but mine stays out in the weather with a car cover, a buddy of mine has some and his stays in the garage and he hasn't had a problem with rust!

i run the ceramic on my 04. so far so good. just a little surface rust in between the tubes where they meet the collector...due to condensation from the AC dripping on the header
