Code 22 maybe. Safing sensor shorted or stuck closed. You can read more about the airbag system here.

That gives me an idea of what might be wrong, but I have no idea how to fix that. I can't afford to take it anywhere right now to get it properly diagnosed. I may try disconnecting the battery for 20 mins or so to see if that will clear it. Thanks for everyone's help.

When I get back to work on Monday I'll ask one of the techs there what pinpoint test F is for the code 22 and I'll get back to you on it.
Safing sensor....that is located in the airbag diagnostic unit......if that is the problem then you would have to replace the airbag diagnostic processor to eliminate the code....I'll ask monday on that

In my Fox I pulled out everything. Put in a Momo with a quick coupler. My SN95 I unplugged the air bags and module and had to pull the light out of the dash. After my accident I refuse to own a car with functional air bags.

Well, disconnecting the battery for an extended period of time did not do anything. Still flashing, but don't really wanna mess with it. I just don't want it going off for no reason.

If the airbag light is flashing.....it will not go off by itself or when called upon...it will just not work at all

Remove the bulb
Cover the bulb with heat shrink
Heat the shrink
Install the bulb
DONE DEAL !!!!!
The flashing illuminated bulb will not melt the heat shrink.
The light genrally comes on with a faulty airbag ribbon

Mine has flashed since day one. I've had the dash apart a couple of times but never thought to remove the bulb haha.

Their is a plugin by the massair meter that leads to the airbag module unplug it then plug it back up... my old car did that sometimes and that fixed it

Disconnecting the battery will only clear the fault as a temp thing. It does NOT make the probelm go away. If the probelm still persists and the car goes through drive cycles, the light will come back on.
MOst likely the Air Bag Module is your issue.

So I've been told. I have just been ignoring it as of late. As long as it won't go off for any reason, I'm ok with it.

just take the light out of the dash unless you want the air bag to work

I was told to remove the steering wheel and replace the electric connection ring and that will fix it. Try Fox Mustang Parts they showed me the part I may need to fix mine. But as of now I dont care about the light and got a bunch of other stuff instead. LOL

if you take out the bulb on a 95 the module will beep annoying the piss out of you. heat shrink the bulb and stuff some tin foil in the socket. reinstall. somthing is bad in the system and you will break yourself trying to throw parts at it. get it scanned and find out where the fault is and fix it if you want it to work

yeah it will beep if you pull the bulb out. just put a little piece of black tape where the bulb flashes no one will ever notice it.
