I also use a Civic ( mine's called the CHTvic in deference to the Navy's use of the term CHT to describe the parts/whats contained therein the plumbing system aboard ships LOL ! ) for a D/D, and have a Farmtruck with a couple mods. What all do you have done to the L ?

K&N and that's it for now. I found a little Greddy turbo kit for it but don't think I am going to venture out on that limb. Bought it for a gas saver and need to leave it alone. No telling how long that will last but for now I haven't touched anything but the breather.
I am averaging 32-34 mpg and I run it hard at times. Compared to my work truck with an average of 10 mpg I am loving it so far.

I was actually looking for mods on the L, but thats cool for the Civic as well. Mines completely stock other than the wheels/stereo, and the wheels were there when I got it. I had to put a new motor in it last year, and it's got 218,000 on it so far...

Ha Ha you meant the Lightning and not the LX/DX? Whew I am losing it in my old age I tell ya.
The Lightning is bone stock just like everything else we have here. :)
I will have to find the mod sheet on it for ya. Last time on a dynojet 248c it pulled 644 rwhp.

Oooh, so we have at the least a built block/ KB upgrade/fuel system among other things. Since it's making almost 200hp more than mine LOL !

I am hoping to have time to pull it out next month to put a stock pullied engine back in it for a few weeks. When I re-swap em we are shooting for close to double what it has now with a little spool help.
As of now I am going with the 5.4 aluminum block, 3.74-inch bore (6.36-liter), Manley rods and pistons, dry sump oiling system, Canton oil pan, windage tray, Pashal steel crank, ported heads with steel valves topped with a Mid-Frame 88mm Turbo. There are a ton of options right now so this may change drastically in the next few weeks but this is close to what I have settled for at the present time.

Sounds like it aught to be quite entertaining. I had envisioned going turbo on mine as well before I finally wised up and decided to only throw mod money at the Coupe. I was going broke and am still digging out...:)

You mean your performance shop doesn't take food stamps?
Thank goodness mine does or I'd be walking. :)

Same here, we do just about everything ourselves with the exception of machining.
I don't see how people can afford for shops do the labor. In a lot of cases the labor is more than the part. One example being the heater core for $20.00 with a labor rate between $200-$400 depending on who quotes ya.
