Are there no other paRAmeters for "nominating" s/one for COTM? What I mean, and why I ask is this...

This thing could turn out like nuthin' more than, "Hey...vote for me and I'll vote for you" like some of the folks end up doin' at these car shows. You know...I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine.

It then could end up like a Super-Clique and the buds who chum together get this exclusivity thing goin' on between them...you know..."Hey, we all voted for so and so, let's all vote for you know who this month" :)

In o/words, shouldn't a real rationale be established as to "WHY" s/one is nominated. I recall in grade school, the teacher really would just move around the classroom and pick "Student Of The Month" just so everyone would have their turn in being SOFM :) Ha...little Johnny coulda been the best spit ball shooter and fight picker in the whole class, but so he wouldn't feel dejected and rejected, he too had his day in the sun.

I'm just sayin', folks maybe need to put some thought in it...rather maybe it could be FEATURE CAR OF THE MONTH and that WOULD allow for members to be "featured" each month. In doing so, members would learn a bit more about the other members with trivia, facts, etc about the member, AND the car.

For the current COTM...
Most helpful as far as tech issues go
Shows the most support in local clubs/functions
Participates & is active on the board as opposed to just lurking
Etc...

Either way....I'll cast my vote for you seein' as how you da man and got this board goin'...how about that! :)

Each nominee will be given the chance to provide a mod list, pictures, and any other misc info for the FOTM Voting thread. This will give the nominee a time to "sell his or herself and their car". Then you the member can pick from that.
