Here is a old 91 coupe that we just had to get turned around. It was and still is a factory 5.0 AOD car. Even though I don't care for the AOD's quite as much I had a soft spot for this one and it drove me crazy seeing it sit and wither away.

We still have some interior work to do and suspension to get it sitting a little lower but here is our progress so far.

Here is my 86 cruiser. I bought this car with intentions of leaving it looking rough and just having fun in it but just couldn't leave well enough alone as usual.

Best ET to date on radial tires was a 6.22 with a lil shot. Next time out we are upping it to a 200 shot and looking for some even 6's.

This is Austins track project. As for you that do not know us know this. Our kids either pay for or work for everything they have, we give nothing for free.

Austin has been working since he was 14 years old and this has been in the works for 2 of those years and he buys parts as he can. Now that he has a GF the parts are coming in a little slower than before but we are still progressing forward.

Here is his progress so far. It does have a new TKO with a high port (temp) motor, coil overs, tubular K member and some other goodies that you can't see from the pictures.

I threw in the pasture shot with all 3 of his cars in it. The blue one is a 4 cylinder (date) car is what he calls it since he gets 30 mpg. The one in the middle he bought his first summer working. It is a 84 Gt T-Top 4 cylinder turbo 5 speed all original and he is more proud of that car than anything else.

Ok this 91 LX was a really rough roller when we got it but our daughter Nichole and myself had this thing gutted and shelled in a days time. This was put together to drive around town and to some of the local car gatherings but we had to see what kind of times it would run too. It is a habitual thing I guess, just gotta know the times to make it worth putting it together.

Best ET 10.90 on a 100 shot and that was before we ported the heads and intake.

Not sure of the times on this one yet but it feels really good when shifting through the gears. Factory 5 speed 5.0 coupe and it is fun to drive around town. Out of the box Edelbrock heads, E cam, shorties, UPR K member, coil overs, CC plates, 3.73 gears, etc.

This car was a very fun build even though I didn't get shots of all the stages we went through.

Just getting started on this one but here is the progress so far. Still a 4 banger for now and very well may stay that way unless the gas prices drop severely.

This one is a 74 Celica and even though it looks completely rusted through the floor pans and under carriage is perfect protected from oil coated under the entire car.

We still have a lot of work to finish this one but as it sits now it has a GN turbo power plant, Vega 4 lug strengthened rear end, new hood, some new interior, washed and cleaned. Still needing some paint work and wheels.

The last picture is not our car but our goal to what we want it to look like after completion.

We were in the middle of this one when I had a guy quit on us so now working 60 ours a week it is going to take a little longer to finish than expected.

Thanks but I really don't care for the Rod-lites that much, just tired of Drag-lites and 2-3 inch cowl hoods being on everything.

Notice the first build? That is the new Greg Weld wheels and I don't care for them too much either in the Drag-lite series.

Is your sig. your car? That is one sweet ride right there. Do you have any more pictures of it? If so please post in here, I never mind post hijacking but love pictures of any ones cars so post up...

Now that I have seen interest in the older stangs in here I have to post up the wife's new projects. These 3 are by far her favorite cars that we have here now.

The T-Top coupe she is patiently awaiting completion on but will be next year before we have it done. Waiting on a ton of parts and putting it back the way it is suppose to be.

The 67 and 68 have very little left before they are finished but both are driven now when we have time.

Ok time for a little change up? Here is a lil project that we picked up and I already have the 358 to drop in but driving it until I have nothing better to do. I hate taking apart a perfectly good running car to create yet another project.

If you have never driven one of these don't knock it. I use to think they were the most worthless cars made but they are fun to drive even in stock form.

Yeah I realize it isn't a Rustang. ;)

I'm in love with the T-Top coupe. I have to have one now. Yeah the 69 in the sig is my car. I had it sence I was 14(which was only 7 years ago), my first car, dad found it in a feild, punched in the nose pretty hard, like everything I have. Everything from the doors forward it new sheet metal. Like it says 8.81 in the 1/8th on nittos, no bottle/blower or turbo. I did it the good old fashion big headers and big carb way. I need to get some more pics of it, its just sitting behind the house fighting an overheating issue. .040 overbore and a stock 2 row rad isn't a good combo. Its also awaiting some gears and to be all but taken off the road to be play toy.

Here is something a little different also but need suggestions on wheels for this one. I don't think I am doing anything height wise to this except a leveling kit, wheels and tires, paint and maybe some interior upgrades.

It is currently equipped with a stock 302/C-6 combo and runs perfect.

Wheel/paint/trim ideas anyone?

Man that's sweet and an awesome story. I am assuming you are planning on keeping it forever right? We have a few here with great sentimental values and they will go no where as well.

Over heating? As simple as the cooling system is I have had several hard to figure out issues myself. The best combo I have found on a budget is the SN 94/95 radiator/fan combos with a 180 thermostat. I have that in most of our cars whether it be track or street. I also added a $20 control switch from AAP and straight wired the fan on every one so I didn't have to worry about a switch to turn them on.

When ya get more pictures shoot em up here. I love that car!

Nah man I would even try to compete with that thing. However the Monster Miata craze gave me some really good ideas. ;)

Not sure of which pictures your referring to but we still have all their cars too. Here are the ones we have been taking to the track lately.

Yeah I think it running way lean for some reason. Idleing 180, hammering on it 180, cruiseing 230ish, up to 260 a couple times. I have changed the head gaskets thinking they were on backwards, added a taurus fan on high, help out but didn't stop the cruise issue, 180 thermostat also tried a 195 and 160 to no adveil. Just parked it for now. My problem is at cruise with a C4 and 3.50 gears and 14" wheels I'm turning a constant 3500 rpm.

Sounds to me like you may have a bad water pump. If your rolling down the highway even @ 4k the wind coming through the radiator should be enough to cool the car as long as it has water in it and it is circulating. The fan of course will only help it while sitting still.

Stupid question but the fan is turning the right way right? I mean regardless of where it is mounted on the radiator it should be drawing air towards the engine right? In front of the rad. it would be pushing and between the water pump and rad it should be pulling but still air flowing towards the engine? If the fan is pushing towards the front of the car it will deflect the natural air flow while you are moving forward.

Not meaning to sound like an idiot just checking. I have done and seen some funny stuff before. I tend to learn a lot of things the hard way or just by looking over simple things.

Yeah he won best R/T with a .0021 light against the runner up which was Jay with a .0027 light. Now that was a close battle there. We had to go to the tower to find out which of them won. There were a few others with killer reaction times as well.

That was Austins first 9 second pass at the age of 16. :yes1:

That does sound unique. You have a picture you can shoot up here?

I have a friend that has an 01 and he was making me a deal on his but he can't decide if he wants to keep them or not.

Thanks everyone. You know how hard it is keeping your stang on the road everyday? Imagine the job I have. :sad1:
