KMS Waxhaw show is a week away we need a good showing for the club money they will be giving away on Nov. 6th $3,200 and a 6 foot trophy. Let me know if u plan on attending and we will meet up and cruise in together. We will have to let one of the locals chose a location to meet since i have know knowledge of the area.:thumbsup1:

im in for sure. People from monroe area could meet in monroe and take hyw 75 all the way in. If your coming from 77 or 485 there is a wendys right of 485 exit 57 providence rd we could meet at.

As mentioned before, quite a few may utilize the 485 beltway around Charlotte which pratically forces you to take exit 57(Providence Rd). I'm like 2mins from that exit and can coordinate a meeting place and time. With show registration starting at 10am, not sure how early everyone plans to get there??

Tony - Can you find out the registration window? That would help us better plan. Thanks!

I'll be coming out of Monroe and going right down 75 to Waxhaw. Sure we can cruise together down. What area of Monroe will you be in?

Sounds good to me. My parents stay about 2 or 3 miles off of 75 just outside of town. Theyre not far from the Franklin St Food Lion.

Tony, I can meet up with you in Gaffney as long as you dont go too fast!!! The 4.10's are a little much on the interstate!! lol

I may end up holding off on this one too:sad1:. I just saw the thread for the Concord meet on the 22nd at FMR. That sounds great being able to tour the facility and all. If I wasnt spending next weekend up at the racetrack I would do both. I got too much stuff to do around the house (cutting firewood,closing pool, etc etc) to be out and about 3 weekends in a row. We will see.

There looks to be a Petro Express/Texaco on the right hand side of 75 as you're coming into Waxhaw. I'll plan to be there by 11am...cool?

That sounds good with me. I know exactly where that is. Make it at least by 11...if not a few before. Have a feeling it's going to be more crowded than expected.

Not much of a parking lot at the Texaco. I would recomend the Lowes in Waxhaw, just of Providence Rd S. at Cuthbertson Rd. between 10:30 and 11:00.:thumbsup1:

Mission accomplished today!!! We had 8 members come out which was one more than the next club so we won some cash and since it was a triple point KMS Club Challenge event we got 24pts towards the 1st place cash prize of $3,200 awarded at the end of the show series in Nov!!! Also, all eight of us won trophies...now keep in mind sometimes we're the only cars in the class, but someone's gotta be there right?? :lol1:

If they had at least 80 cars registered there would be full payout of $500. Unfortunately, there was just 70 cars so the payout was less. Keep in mind the show entry fee is $25 so we spent $200 for a chance to win $500 today, but more importantly the $3,200!!

Awesome job guys...we had great weather and KMS puts on a good show. They're smart to tag cook-offs with car shows as the food helps bring the people out!!! :lol1:
