8 bolt crank to 6 bolt crank help.

i have a complete teskid short block that is a 6 bolt crank.

its replacing the shortblock that is in a 01 cobra which has, im pretty sure a 8 bolt crank which means im in need of a new flywheel.

now my question is. the first modular cobras 96-98 were i believe 6 bolt cranks. would a flywheel from one of those work with the 01 cobra clutch?and are they balanced the same?

ive been reading on other forums about it. but everyone seems to miss the fact that the cranks are different.

The 96-98 cobras have 8 bolt forged cranks. If you have Teksid short block with a 6 bolt crank it's from a MarkVIII and has a cast crank.
Think you may be able to use the 96-98 GT and late 01-04 GT 6 bolt flywheel. They are all zero balanced so there's no difference there.

Yea its a mark v8 block with cast crank I just wanted to make sure flywheels were compatable thanks
