Feb 7th Greenville GTG, Cruise

Ok I know we have talked about a dinner and movie night, but I believe this is a far better cause!

Cruisin' For Cancer Mustang Cruise
6:30pm at Mauldin High School

The state troopers will be helping us out until we reach route 14, cause they cant stop traffic on that road. We are starting at Mauldin High School and cruising down Butler road, turning right on tanner road, left on bethal road, then left onto 14. 14 will take us up to Woodruff. We are going to end at Moe's Southwest Grill on Woodruff road.

We are asking for about a $10 donation per car. This will be put towards BI-LO Charities Children's Cancer Center and A Child's Haven as a part of Mauldin High School's Spirit Week. Mauldin is also profit sharing with Moe's on that night so everyone eating there will benefit the charities as well.

I think this is the same people that put together the Toys for Tots cruise some of us did last month, so I'm sure this will be a fun run also.

You will run I-26 to I-385 towards Greenville. Just watch for signs to Mauldin/Hwy 276. The Hardess' is on Hwy 276 (Main St) will be on your right as you come into town. You can't miss it man:thumbsup1:

And I also had a great time tonight!! Our count was 11 cars total (8 foxes, 1 Mustang II, a SN95, and a 08 Bullit), and 14 members. Thanks to everyone that came out. I'll have a few pics up tomorrow once I go though them.

No it aint what it used to be. Pretty great finish though. Daytona, Talledega, Darlington, and Bristol are about the only races that hold im intrest through the whole thing anymore. Oh and did someone say boobies?:drool:

"We got about $300. Which helped contribute to the $163,827.96 that Mauldin Spirit Week raised as a whole for BI-LO Charities Children's Cancer Center and A Child's Haven. It was a record amount for Mauldin Spirit Week by more than $50,000 and this year was the first year Mauldin beat Hillcrest who raised about $160,000. Thanks for your pictures and the help!"
