I put a set of bbk long tube headers on my 86 gt, the drivers side is quiet as a mouse but the pastor side has a leak, I tried copper gasket but didn't helping any. I seen the aluminum multilayered gaskets are they any good, could they fix my problem?

Never had any trouble using the normal Fel-pro #1415 header gaskets.

You can always use a little of the copper or red high temp gasket sealer around on the gaskets too.

On either end, multi-layered are better..... on the head, the best thing that we have found on almost all ford headers is to use the factory studs and nuts, also.... much better and more reliable than the bolts that come with headers.... they won't back off......... back in the day we would sometimes cut the mounting flange between each port when we suspected warping of that flange.... took care of hard to diagnose leaks most of the time.... that was on cheaper sets of headers though. I know that they do make the muli-layer steel for the collector end..... the ball-and-socket style collector, I think, is the best.
