Do yall know if a 275/40/17 will fit right on my 9" wheels under the rear of my gt?

275 looks great on a 9in wheel i think it would look good and aggresive

275's will fit on an 8" wheel. You're good to go!

I'm runnin' 'em in the rear...probably a lot of guys on the board are too I'd guess. Got the 9's cause I didn't want to bang on the car to fit 10's.

it will fit just fine. actully the best size tire to put on a 9" rim.

You can run the 275/40/ZR17's in the rear with no problem.........
This was my old LX..........had 235/40/17's front and 275/40's in the rear....see not all my Mustang's have been stock!!

I wouldn't mind some 4 lug cobras :)
Oh, and the tires should fit fine, they are about the same size height as stock and if you've already got 9" rims you should be good to go with clearances to the walls...

Oh, but don't get 275/60/15s they are 6.5" sidewall... and they probably won't fit.
