I am going on my 3rd day without a paycheck and I get paid on a 2 week pay period:angry:. I let my ex claim my son and it dropped my return amount by $2600 so now I am really screwed. I am only getting $864 back instead of $3400:cryingeyesout:. Looks like I am going to have to get a new job but the market sucks and I know I won't be able to get the money I make now it took me 8 years to get to where I am in my company. But I guess it could be worse I am sure that someone out there has it worse than me so I am thankful for what I do have. Even if it isn't much I do have my health and my children.

Man that sucks, but you're right. Be grateful for what you have. I've been working this deadend job for 6.5 years and I'm still not getting anywhere. You'll be ok and just look forward to new day. BTW if you haven't already filed your taxes I might be able to help you compensate some of your losses. Last year I owed $600 but when my accountant looked over them again she got me $2400 back.

Sorry to hear about your job. Keep your head up and just remember God never throws anything at you that you can't handle. Keep your head and your spirits up high. Good luck with everything.:thumbsup1:

Things are tough all over. We had a meeting yesterday right at the end of the day. Our HR person informed us the company will no longer match our 401 contributions. They are doing this to save money, and put back in case times get even worse; this way there will be money there to keep everyone employed.
And I agree with PuttPutt, God will only put as much on you as you can handle. And I believe God is testing all us of in this day and time.

I never do. I'm self-employed, so I always have to pay. We all need to work with the government. Then we don't have to pay our taxes. Atleast thats what some of them think.

Thanks for all the good words. But it just got worse yesterday. My landlord told me he is closing the sale of the house I am renting on the 20th of this month. That means I have to find a new place to live by the end of the month.:angry:If you guys know of anything in the Taylors or Blueridge area let me know.
