Ok, my Capri was in need of some new carpet, and things just kinda got outta hand.....
LMR dash cover (I cracked my 28 year old original one back during the winter).

Got rid of the Autometer Phantom water temp and oil pressure gauge; bought Ultra Lite to match the ones in the dash.

New carpet from rockauto.com (ACC with MASS backing).

Removed the roll bar (had to do some welding and grinding on the floor pans), welded up a floor pan crack on the passenger side.

Got rid of the creaking rattling brittle console!

Added a few pieces of bling from UPR Products. Replaced door to body weatherstripping.

It is soooo much quieter inside with the new carpet and sound deadner that I laid down, it is like a new car.

Now I need to get a matching e-brake boot!
Obligatory body shot after a good bath! ;)

Looks good! Great job.

Why does your car have post mirrors?

Sharp eye, most people don't even notice...
I looked everywhere for those mirrors, they came on the 'verts; but I found mine from an escort GT. I saw a aero mustang in a magazine "back in the day" and thought that they looked better than what Ford thought.

They seem to work on your car. I don't much like the looks of them but to me you can see better out of them. They look good on your car though. I will have a capri one day...

Your car is beautiful always loved capri's only thing imo you need is to redo the seat covers for the interior to be perfect.

Sure, I just got a sheet of carbon fiber from one of the many vendors online, I think it may have been dragonplate.com. I opted for the 3M adhesive backing, put it on the factory gauge bezel and cut my holes where I wanted them, the factory gauge cluster was not used.

Hopefully the seats will be recovered this winter or next spring, they came from an explorer and I got $100 invested.

Thanks for the kind words fellas!

I do like how you choose to do the console delete... now to find that matching boot. Carpet looks gr8 and the rear seat delete fits nicely. For explorer seats they look good to me.

http://www.protechcomposites.com/ is where I got mine, but now I don't see the 3m adhesive option. I got the 1.3mm 12"x48", and had PLENTY left over...
