Will timing not being right cause the car temp run on the I side I just built the motor swap rad with good used rad and took the thermostat out just in case it was sticking don't know what else to do. Its got me pulling my hair out

Having no thermostat will let the water circulate too fast not giving it enough time in the radiator to dissipate heat.

best thing to do is install a thermostat and drill 2 or 3 1/8 in holes in the silver ring on the thermostat...this will allow trapped air to escape...i think your problem may be air in the system.

What's your timing at? Carb or FI? Running too little timing will cause lots of heat, and it will heat up quick. Put a 180 stat in and check timing and let us know what you come up with. If you're running a Carb, being too lean will also cause overheating.
