It sounds like it is a 302 modular with 4valve heads. I don't see Ford going back to pushrods after the money and commit they have made in the modular program.

it looks like a modular motor to me... just with new heads... i bet its just a mass production version of the boss block with some retooled 01 cobra heads that have variable valve timing or something... i like that they went with the LS1 style intake manifold with the TB UNDER everything.

If you look at the bottom of the first page its said its not a mod motor, but that could be wrong.

The best that I can find out is that it is a "new" engine, that will have the 4 valve cobra style heads

I think I will just stick to the old school 5.0. I know how to build those and I don't have to rely on an engineer :angry:to guide me.lol

I think Obama, will hurt it chances of living tomorrow.:thumbsdown1: And maybe us mustang owners, will have to wait until tomorrow, and find out all the BS that is in the new law.
