Check the vacuum lines on the back side of the controller and under the hood

Ive had the same problem, did you get the gasket between the air box back in place,if not the air will just blow around the core and not threw it.

Vacuum hooked up.Gasket around box tighter than ever before.Previous owner had broke apart to try and get to core.Air switches from vent to defrost etc.

How about the blend door cable... is it moving the blend door from hot to cold??
As for Wilsmoku, sounds like the vacuum has a leak or isn't hooked up to the A/C switch/control head.

Not to jack the thread but i have a unique situation on my coupe i replaced the h/c and have heat but the vac line comming thru the fire wall is just hooked up to the vac port on the base of the carb /maby not enough vac to work the doors in the heater im thinking i may need the vac ball back under the fender hooked up

go to a junkyard and grab yourself a vacuum tree from a f/i car and the line assembly over the dryer assembly and rock out
