Interior Upgrade

Here's the plan:


I want to convert my interior to 100% black. (like most fox owners. LoL) but, I would like to do this the cheapest way possible.

I have Corbeau seats, and I plan on doing a rear seat delete, so seat covers are not needed. From what I can think, all I would need is:

Floor Carpet
Rear Seat Delete Carpet
Headliner
Sun Visors
Interior Panels ( would probably have to die most of them)

My Corbeau's are the grey cloth now, but I want to get them redone with all black, silver stitching, and a red Corbeau Logo.

I'm still saving up for this project, but I would like to get a list of all the stuff I'll need. So any pointers? Suggestions?

I have a set of black visors that have the mirror, they don't have the flap though. Other then that they are perfect. They were in my car when I bought it. But my friend had a set with the flaps, so I changed them out.

Yes they are the lighted mirrors, the bulbs are burnt out, since someone removed the flaps in my cars earlier years. The flap pushes the little button in when closed to shut off the light. So since they removed the flaps, the can't be used a lighted mirrors anymore.:thumbsdown1:

haha... taken from someone who swapped a car from red to grey, im glad i bought a whole 4cyl.

grey 4cyl: $500
gas to get it: $50
sold it for $450 with the red interior just thrown in boxes. theres so much little stuff you dont even think of...

i highly recommend painting as little as possible. i tried it some and although i prepped it and it looked great. if you ever scratch it will just show. i am in the process of converting over now and its takes time unless you are lucky like some of the other gusy and find a 4cyl w/ all black. i can vouch for our sponsor www.foxmustangrestoration.com i got several things from them and they all look, fit great. they are easy to work with and ship out fast.

not sure if it helps but they do offer a discount. and i got mine w/o the map pockets, i always hated them. so they took off some of the price and i got them quicker.

oo good point! Cause I wouldn't want the map pockets either. Just more places for dirt to get. I'll have to look into that and see what the price difference is.

i think mine was about 50 less w/o the map pockets. i mean we all know they never looked good and were pointless for use. just like the map light i deleted when i got my new headliner. i put in the 94+ dome light w/ the side directionals much better to use.

yeah i never did like it. even though mine worked just looked cluttered. now its much cleaner.

how did you delete it out of the headliner? Just covered the whole, and didn't cut the material out of it?

exactly, just put some good tape over the hole and cutout a piece of cardboard. that will keep it from leaning in. it def looks alot better.
