not a great night

had a miserable night last night and spent most of it in the ER again:sad1:....I have kidney stones and was diagnosed with them early saturday morning when i was in the ER (yes the morning of the cola gtg) but the meds i had gotten saturday morning stopped working and i could hardly move so i went back to the ER and got new stuff...sigh it's been a very painful couple of days.

I feel your pain!!! I got a kidney stone the night of one of my finals at clemson. I didn't know what was wrong with me - I thought I was dying! LOL. Parents had to drive to clemson to get me (no way I could drive myself) and took me to the ER. Only thing that made my pain go away was morphine. I never felt where I passed it so not sure if the IVP stuff they gave me broke it up or what.

Every now and then I'll still get kidney pain and have to chug water to get it to go away so I know there are still some there! doh!

So needless to say, take all the pain meds they give you and drink lots of water. Good luck with it - truly is one PAINFUL experience!

I hate to hear it for ya. I also feel your pain. Had one back in Feb. and it is the worst pain I have ever been in. I hope you get to feeling better.

I feel your pain brother... I feel your pain..... had 3 the last quarter of 08 2 for the price of one the last go round at Christmas.... got Vicodin ??? heheheeh made me feel better:yes1::crazy1:

Yeah I had one when I was 17 from calcium buildup (haven't drank milk 1/4 of as much since) lol

Thing hurt like all hell and I thought my spleen was ruptured or something lol

thanks everyone....and yeah it does hurt like hell. this is my third one and it doesn't get any easier. When i went to the ER in lexington they gave me morphine to take, but unfortunitly they stopped working so that's why i went back last night and now i'm on oxycodine....and let me tell you whoa lol but thanks for the support!

I had Demerol when I had mine but they didn't give me any for the house, just the 2-3 hours I sat in the docs office... then they were like, well we debated surgery but its small enough that you should be able to pass it, come back in two days if you still have it, I was like :sad1:

But it passed the next morning, after I stayed up all night drinking fluids and peeing in lots of pain... lol
