Can someone please point me in the direction of the right way to drain/flush my engine coolant as it's dirty brown. Just for clarification, not the radiator, but from the block itself.
Thanks!

the best way i know to do it is just open the valve at the bottom of the radiator start the car and put the water hose in the top of the radiator it should keep fresh water running through it which in turn should flush out the block too, then after it comes out clean fill with your choice of fluid..... just me 2 cents though.

if it is really bad drain it and flush like everyone else has said and then pull the thermostat off after it cools and then run water through to till all the junk comes out of the motor. shouldn't have to run the motor just water. that way if there is anything big it won't plug up you thermostat and overheat. then buy a new thermostat and gasket and put it back together.:thumbsup1:

if you run the water hose with out the car on you won't have enough pressure to push the water all the way through the system.

if your flushin it you don't need to waste your antifreeze, but on the fill up yes by all means put in antifreeze
