While testing in Ga Big Daddy runs 7.15 @ 215 mph! It's going to be a good year for the Drag Radial guys!!BREAKING!!! Big Daddy runs 215 mph on Radials
The godfather himself of drag radial racing has spoken once again without saying a word. Actions have always been said to speak louder than words and Big Daddy Dwayne Gutridge just put the competition on alert. In a recent phone conversation with BD we learned that he was making a trip to Georgia to do some testing. And test he did.
It appears as testing has went well for Dwayne and crew today. With a Job Spetter tune Gutridge ran a insane 215.72 mph. The other incrementals were not too shabby either. The one area that will need to be improved upon is the sixty foot time which came in at 1.30. The power of the 390 cubic inch small block came to life at the 330 clocks running a 4.79 at nearly 160 mph. Once BD gets a better 60-foot this ride is going deep 6's for sure and that's no joke.
Big Daddy Performance is a site sponsor here, and after this performance, you should be burning his phone lines down to the ground, as well as his e-mail, to have him work his magic on your ride.
After all, Big Daddy ripped off the back half of the track in 2.377 seconds. He stopped the clocks with a 7.175 in the meantime. You can guarantee that BD will be searching for the power and tune to lower the numbers even further. Good luck Dwayne in your quest back to the top. Just remember one thing….”It’s all business”
