im just curious as to if cast aluminum pistons would hold up to any kind of added power, because im sure as heck know it would burn holes under the power of a turbo or supercharger.

I call NOS on this subject a few years ago and they said cast pistons would hold 100 hp shot but i would still be careful and not use it continuoulsy if i were going to use it at all..:yes1:

ive never been around something that was on the bottle, nor does anyone one up here run on the bottle, i just thought its be nice to have a 100 shot.
but id like to keep this engine alive and melt anything :yes1:

i dont run nitrous myself its to unconstitant for me..but if i were you and were gonna do it and try to keep it alive i think i would stay on the safe side and run aa 75 shot ..But NOS did say that 100 was safe to run on any piston and any engine..when i talked to them a couple of years ago...

As long as youre conservative with it and dont go crazy you shold be fine. I think youd be fine with a 100hp shot but you could always be doubly fine with the 75. :)
I ran a 150 shot on my 93 back in the day when I had it but I had hypers for pistons and it loved it. It still ran strong till I sold it. I only used it at the track occasionally though.

You should be fine as long as you have the appropriate Fuel Pump and also you don't go aggressive on the timing.

i've shot a small shot of nitrous on mine and now 10 lbs of boost and haven't put a hole in a piston yet - that i know of at least :yes1:

100 shot with good tuning should be fine, provided you drive it responsibly and tune it correctly. Alot less have killed these motors. Wet or dry? Pros and cons to both. Both can be equally as dangerous if not used properly. Just my .02 cents.

stock bottom end. The 93s came with hyperpathetic pistons.
