I'd say take it out and if you have a space to lay it out for like a day or so that would be good............

If you have a heat gun, you can heat the polymer on the back of the carpet. That will help it lay down. Just be carefull and don't get it too hot!

I just put carpet in last weekend. I laid it out in the drive way for about 3 hours and it laid down well.

i agree a heat gun helps the most. i got the acc molded carpet w/ sound deadner. it was black and i did in july. i laid in out for several days then placed it directly in the sun for a few hours before the install on a 90+ degres day. still needed a heat gun to get it to lay flat.

I'd did it a couple years ago. I laid it out in the living room and put books on it for a couple of days. It was still wrinkled a little. But it lays down good after a couple days of driving. Once you get it under the pedals and the pass side of the dash that straightens out. The back seats hold well to. Just make sure you don't trim anything off the sides until you get your trim on and see if it needs it. Even then I wouldn't trim it. Over time it'll seat itself. While you aren't driving it. Throw some books int the back and some in the front.

Mine was precut for the car... just unrolled it, laid it in... it formed itself up in 2-3 days and I "freshened it up" a bit under the trims panels... looked stock lol

thanks guys i got it in but it still doesn't lay like i want in the rear the fronts look really good but where it goes under the back seats and around the seat belts it kinda wants to wrinkle up some. if not i will try to heat it some. thanks again.

I just put the nifty carpet in mine. I let it sit in the garage next to the heater for about an hour or two. Put it in and trimmed it to fit right. I am going to let it sit for a day or so before putting the seats, console and what not in. On a side note has anybody replaced the rear carpet in a notch? Mine was gone when i got the car but want to clean it up and put some in it.

pulling the hairs out of my nose would have been less painful then trying to lay that acc carpet! I had the same issues around the rear belt retractors in my vert. Illl never use them again, found another company that will send you samples of carpet colors and pile thickness and Ill use them instead. theirs is supposed to be molded also.
