I've been reading that if I ran 1.75 LTs that I wouldn't get much horsepower due to negative pressure on an otherwise, stock motor. Is this true, if so what do you guys recommend I run even when I get the trickflow track heat heads intakes and cam setup?

Running Long Tubes will allow the car to breath better especially with a H/C/I package. No need for 1 3/4 tubes though. You really don't need any more than 1 5/8 as too big will hurt performance at the level you are at.
I can get you new at discount prices if you want.

In a otherwise stock motor, these will have somewhat of a negative effect, with back pressure.......My advice is to compensate.......Say this otherwise stock mustang has a 3:73 gear, then the back pressure no longer becomes such a issue.....Its all about airflow......I have run them all along with stangs with stock motors, and a gear.......and couldn't tell where they hurt anywhere in the RPM range.....I say go for it:thumbsup1:

I have stock gears but not for long. Quinn, thanks for the offer but 300 for bbk with a fresh strip and recoating of jet coating with h pipe is too good to pass up. I plan on changing out h/c/i TB gear and injectors then get an afpr. I think that'll really wake up the car and the tubes won't be so dextrament to the car.

If you are interested in a budget type intake set up I have a Polished EFI Typhoon Intake. It includes a 1" Phenolic Spacer, stock Fox Fuel Rails and a Kirban Adjustable Regulator.
