If I have a set of 2.5" tailpipes should I order the dynomax ultra flo 17222 which has the 2.5" inlets and outlets or will I need a 3"? Thinking about going with the ultra flows for a turbo set up.

for a turbo build you're gonna want bigger pipes. I know one of my friends had a 2.5" and upgraded to 3" and he said he could feel the difference. I'm not a turbo/exhaust expert at all though. We've got some members floating around running turbo setups, I'm sure they'll be here shortly

if you already have the 2 1/2" tailpipes then go with the 2 1/2" Inlet/outlet Ultraflo's.Turbo setups Love larger exhaust but if your set on using the 2 1/2" Tails no need in having 3" mufflers if you have to choke it back down to 2 1/2"

2.5" is fine. More than enough exhaust to make enough hp the obliterate a stock block.
My vert has a 3.5" down pipe to 3.5" to dual 2.5" Y to a Pypes Violator 2.5" cat back with tail pipes.

Yeah the kit I ordered has a 3.5" down pipe. Now I just gotta find a good foxbody to put it on. I sold the one I had, it was just gonna take to much work to get it right.................... Im wondering if the UltraFlos will be too quiet or if I should go with a set of race magnums or bullets.............
