This **** thing my car idles at about 1100 tried the idle reset procedure like all the threads said to do , when I unplug the IAC It dies instantly. I have a new 70mm throttle body and IAC but its done this sense I put the motor in. Also if its running I can unhook the EGR both the elec.and vacc. it nothing happens . This might also have t do with my heasitation if hit it real quick. Whats going on???????????

The EGR isn't supposed to work at idle so thats ok. Unplug the IAC turn a few rounds in on the idle hard stop, and see it will run, turn the screw back out until it barely idles, I mean barely(400-600 rpm), then plug the IAC back in and see if that fixes it.

just leave the IAC un hooked. it'll idle a whole lot better and the idle will drop down properly when you let off the gas also.i never use them and all my vehicles run fine.when you unhook it all you'll have to do is idle it up to where you want it and it'll be just fine from there

Have you checked the voltage on the TPS sensor?
