EDIT: Looks like my entire first post to this thread has been erased somehow, so I am reloading these pictures. I can't remember everything I said about the car either so if you guys have any questions just ask.

Thanks! It has its flaws, but I think that they are things that can be expected of a car with 24 years of age. It does run great though!:thumbsup1:

Every street driven car has flaws, 23 years old in that good of shape, man I've got more flaws than that car >< lol hows the interior look?

Body looks very straight in those pics. Even brand new cars have flaws. Like you said, for 24 years old, it's in really good shape.

The interior looks pretty good! Here are the only real problems:
dash pad needs to be replaced (what 1st gen dash doesn't? lol)
the "fuzzy" dash panels need to be re-flocked
there is a small hole in the drivers seat (I just slapped on some seat covers)
the driver side power window needs attention
so does the passenger side power door lock
the hatch latch needs attention too
Other than that she is in really good condition interior wise.:yes1:

She sure is...that was the first thing I checked when I looked it over. It does need a new front bumper cover & a corner light. I couldn't believe how nice of a condition it was in when I picked it up. $3K was the final price in case anyone was curious. Mileage is an unknown...it could be 60,000 or it could be 160,000. My title says "actual" but you know how that goes...:p
Thanks again!

Looks like the site conveniently lost my entire first post, including everything I said about the car as well. What a PITA!

No, it is not. I'm talking about the thread that you have posted in right here. I had nine pics in the first post along with a bio of the car.
I went back and put the pics in what would now be the second post.

Scott is correct, the only mods done to the car the first time it was on the rollers were the K&N, a Dynomax muffler and that that was pretty much it. Boost at the time was limited to a computer-controlled 14 psi. Several months later she went back with the only change being a Turbo Coupe intercooler and that was good for another 5 hp. See attachment.
Then the fun began. I swapped in an LA3 computer from an '88 Turbo Coupe along with an injector upgrade from 30 lb. to 35 lb. The knock sensor was disconnected and the boost solenoid was completely eliminated. The manual boost controller was installed and set to approx. 18 psi. The intercooler was modified to accept a 3/4" fitting and a bypass valve was installed. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator was added and the twin fuel pump setup was ditched in favor of a single Walbro 255 lph. high pressure in-tank unit.
Once I get a decent boost gauge installed and some quality time with a wide band O2 sensor then we'll see just how much boost she can take before going lean.:thumbsup1:

Sounds similar to my set-up. On my wide band I start going pretty lean with stock fuel pressure around 17 psi above 5000 rpm.
I'd love to see your dyno numbers with the new configuration!
