There is going to be some bad ass cars out there. It's pretty central for a lot of folks. Well worth coming to.

well ill be there but not sure if car will be there. she broke last night on my second test pass in atlanta. tune was good just was working on my launch and on the top end when i let off something let go on the right bank piston are. ether skirt or wrist pin... so tear down tonight will tell if ill be racing or spectating...

one of my buddies from asheville took his multicolored coupe down there(white body, green driver door, red front fenders and nose, and a black hood!) and finished runner up!
amazing work they got done on the car in so little time
just got the car ready 2 days before time to go
9.44 at 148
i think his 1/8th mile was around a 6.1 at 118
he will be at shadyside with us june 26th so come see it

i saw the first 2 passes,but had to leave before the final pass. that coupe was awesome! it was probably my favorite car in the class. it seemed to run pretty dang strong! plus, it is the ultimate sleeper, imo. tell him congrats!

I saw it, it ran good. There were alot of fast cars in true street. I think my favorite one was the 65 Black and orange Mustang. He ran in the 8.50 range. But failed to make all 3 passes.

There were a lot of cars in True Street that really weren't in the spirit of the class - IMO. Several had chutes, were on slicks, etc. I even saw a couple that were on dealer drive-out tags.
Personally, I would love to see True Street be a hard radial comp.
