Pretty much any DIN sized CD Player will fit, you just have to get the mounting kit, so it fits in the dash right.

Not sure of the brand name but Best Buy has one that has a Ipod hook up for it on the outside and it is also a cd player. I think it was around the price range you are looking for

I go with Ebay, new or used, you can get a nice cd/mp3 with satellite hookeup for... well $65 shipped was what I got my brothers for 1.5 years ago... $20 for a din adapter so it fits the dash (from best buy/walmart etc.) and no one will ever know the difference.

I'll probably pretty much be doing this again soon as mine has a crappy 2003 model 4x45w or something... probably no aux input/output so I can hook my ipod and sub up... lol

Not like i can hear my radio over my car unless I crank it anyway :)

Just to make a point, if you like the ugly 180$ alpine...

Its on ebay for 135 shipped or you can bid on a cheaper one :) probably get one for around 100.

(Just put model # into search "CDA-9884" or whatever deck you're looking into)

I've got an alpine in my 91 and in my 92 vert, that I had, was a sony. Now, the sony had a screen that was about 3.5" and could play a dvd if u had an external player. You could also see the screen pretty well considering where they are. My alpine plays great sounds great even with the crappy factory speakers still in it. But because of the location of the cd player, I really can't see it as well as my sony. Honestly, best bang for your buck is a 2007 or 2008 model of just about any Pioneer. They've been using mosfet technology for years which is the same sound modifying gadgetry (if you will) that was and is still used in amplifiers for sound equipment for concerts. What I used to do was go on crutchfield.com and find the cd player I liked and they usually have reviews from buyers to. Write down that model number and go to ebay and punch that in. 90% of the time its about 25-28% cheaper on ebay. I hope this helps.

Looks like a nice deck, plus this one comes with the wiring kit and dash kit, so it may be worth it

If want to spend $150 or less....there are endless choices out there.......over the last 15 years I've had all sorts of brands in my cars. My wifes Expedition has a Pioneer cd w/sat hookup and sounds awesome....My daughters Focus had a Alpine in it for years( it used to be my wifes car then my car) and then last year I bought a Sony for about $100.00 with front aux input and ipod adapter as well......I've also had JVC, Panasonic and it just boils down to what you want option wise and the looks of the display.......just my .02

here is the Sony I got for the Focus...........

If you stick with major brands - Pioneer (my favorite), Alpine (my second favorite) Eclipse, Clarion, Sony, etc, you should be just fine. Don't buy any crap like dual or durabrand, or xtreme sound, or boss, etc

Pioneer is my favorite as well, alpine preforms great but looks cheap to me, sony has always made good quality but it costs...

The WORST stereo I've ever seen... is Boss... my friend had about 3 of them... in as many months. He finally got an alpine and has had it ever since.

Dude go with the alpine all the way. I have the CDA-9884. The one that notch93 recommended for 180. it looks great in white with red interior. The red lights on the buttons look awesome and the sound quality is amazing, none compare. I still have stock speakers and its great with my ipod and cds. On things that i dont like is that it doesnt charge you ipod. But my vote is alpine man. IT is totally worth the extra 30 bucks to look and sound the best out there. Oh and bypass the stock amp for a better sound cause the new radio can hadle more than the stock one.

93volpe, I really like that. I've got a jump drive and I would love to just use that instead of having cds in my car. **** I may sell my alpine. The display is just really hard to read on it.

I'm with "Bones" on Pioneer... Supertuners are great and I've had a few verts and the 50 watt decks are just fine with the factory speakers. Just get the detachable face and remote and when you park with the top down just toss in the trunk. I'm not going to slam all the rest as for Alpine, Kenwood, ect. because I have also had those but for the best bang for the buck you know where I stand.
