We'll be there for sure watching, we're thinking about dragging the camper out there and just staying all weekend.

BTW, I called and spoke to the track and you can get spots with full hookups next door at Tom Johnsons for $30/night. If anyone else wants to drag a camper out there maybe we could reserve some spots in the same area.

What do ya'll think about being a Official Participating Club for teh car show one day or both??

DETAILS as to why I ask.....
Requirements to be an NMRA Official Participating Car Club:

Car club must pre-register a minimum of 5 club members prior to the event to become an NMRA Official Participating Car Club and to receive your car club discount.
Payment for pre-registration (check or credit card) must be received within 10 days of the event.
Registration form must be filled out completely with all the names of the pre-registered participants.

Benefits of becoming an NMRA Official Participating Car Club:

Your car club will be recognized as an NMRA Official Participating Car Club for this event in Race Pages, the official publication of the NMRA Ford Nationals. Your club will receive FREE copies of the issue of Race Pages with the car show coverage from this event.
Your club may use the NMRA Official Participating Car Club logo in 2009.
Your club will receive an NMRA Official Participating Car Club plaque.
Your club will receive in the mail prior to the event, easy to follow instructions on what to do when you arrive.
Your car club parking spaces will already be reserved for you. Only pre-registered members may park in these spaces. Participants that did not pre-register will be required to park in non-reserved areas. Your club will also receive a 20’X 20’ reserved space for an EZ-Up tent where you can gather and promote your club.
Every NMRA event has over sixty car show awards and all participants receive a giant goody bag and participant dash plaque. Every participant has full-access credentials for the drag race, swap meet and manufacturer’s midway.

As you can see, the benefits of becoming an NMRA Official Participating Car Club are very attractive. Thank you for your support and participation with the NMRA Ford Nationals.

The bracket classes are their bread and butter. Why would they cut them? Not too smart.

Because this event is the NMRA & NMCA, not the NMRA alone.
