I just bought some 3.73 gears from Notch93(Thanks:hi:) And was wondering how hard it is to install your own gears. And if there were any sites that had good intructions. I already have friction modifier,new speedo gear and the gear oil.

They did a good write up on installing gears on the corral.

But if you have never installed them before, it's well worth the money to let someone who knows how to install them.

PLUS 1 We do have a few members on here in Greer, Greenville and Greenwood that are good at doing gear installs. Give them a day or two to see the thread, and i'm sure one of them will give you a yell.

If you want to do it yourself, I understand. If you want someone to do them for you, just let me know.

XSR I have been meaning to tell you it is nice to see a vendor who doesn't try to push their services on people and I think you do a great job of that. You always seem to give advice and remind people they can pay you to do the work without seeming to come off as pushy.

Well the only problem is how much it would cost to get them installed. Bones told me that there are a few local guys on the site and that they would let me know if they could do it but xrs give me a hollar about the install. Anybody that can do sent me a PM about your shop and service.

88Fox;
I don't do basic work, like clutch installs, brakes, etc... I can do anything related to a mustang, except paint it. LOL! I have just done so many 8.8 gears, that it's almost second nature to me. Again, I completely understand doing it yourself, as thats the way I am.

Fast50, I appreciate your comments(if that's what it is). I am not in this just for the money, I love just being around high performance cars. I started out as many, low budget, and did everything myself.

i would much rather give my business to someone off here that i know is honest and isn't out to screw someone like most of the shops around here do. i have come to find out that most marines can't work on there own cars and the shops around here charge omg prices to do ****, just cause they know they can.

You can get ahold of Chuck (badass1993) but he is still a little drive from you though.
