Infamous 93 clearcoat peeling

I would have liked to read your original post - I bought my '93 brand new in Sept. in 1992...by 1994 the paint (or clearcoat) was cracking. Ford repainted the car under warranty, but it was a quick repaint. In 1997 the cracks all over the body returned. I was out of warranty and paid $1,500 for a repaint. By 1999 the cracks (up to 1 inch long) appeared AGAIN. I paid $10,000+ for a complete disassembly and media blasting to bare steel and repaint. as of today, the paint still looks good. I was unaware this was a known 1993 clearcoat problem.
