The labor charge for a throwout bearing is going to be almost exactly the same as it would be to replace a clutch. The trans has to be out of the car for the swap. You'd only have to drain the fluid, pull the driveshaft, drop the crossmember and midpipe. remove the shifter from inside the car, disconnect the speedo cable/clutch cable from the tranny, and then there are only a few bolts holding her into the bellhousing. You dont even need a jack, and can lift her in and out by hand. You'd save yourself a few hundred dollars in labor at the very least. It's not hard to do at all, only takes a few hours, and if you buy a Chiltons/Haynes manual, either will spell out the entire procedure for you in easy to understand terms. You might even be close enough to another member to get someone to give you a hand. I would if I lived up that way !

Contact Trai he will get you hooked up. That is an excellent price by the way.
What is your reasoning for wanting to just replace the Throw Out Bearing?

w3rd this is right. pretty easy replacement - did mine last year. except i had a plug that i plugged the tailshaft with to keep the fluid in the trans. i also replaced the to bearing retainer with a steel version.
but if you don't have time then you can't beat paying $125 to have it done.
