which color to paint my car

not sure if this is where this thread goes or not. please fell free to move if necessary.
well my car has the original paint on it and it needs to be painted pretty bad. so...iv been thinking about going to a different color other than white. just wondering what you guys thoughts are about switching, im open to suggestions. im thinking seriously about switching to black though. i like white just wanting something a little different. let me know what you think, ideas, etc.... y'all have good taste lol

I'm partial to white myself, but if you want to change color and you are going to keep the bullits, do it in Highland Green!!!! I've got a drawing of one I'll post up here in a minute as soon as I get back on my lap top. It looks awsome!!!:thumbsup1:

a little cartoonish on the drawing, and no side moldings and spoiler delete. You wouldn't have to do all of that of course, but the color would be awesome!!!!! I like it!!!!:thumbsup1:

It ultimately depends on what you like, but silver has always been my favorite on foxes

If you have black interior I think the copper color that Trucks painted project copperhead looks awsome, or a burnt orange metallic. Or if you wanted something that's not such a poping color charcoal grey metallic would look good too. There's my .02 pecos

lol i dont think that would look too good, its porno red interior. i dont like the color but its in almost perfect condition so i dont have to the heart to take it out or dye it.

Yeah, I know, a hatch without a spoiler just doesn't look right.

This would look good, but your car looks so good white!!!

I would leave that one white myself ..Nice car...But i usually go by Henry Fords Qoute " You Can Paint A Car Any Color You Want As Long As Its Black"...LOLI love a Black car but yours looks to good to change to me...:thumbsup1:

I have said it (and used this method several times), go to a new car lot, doesn't matter which brand, and just scan around, the color(s) that catches your eye is it! Next ask yourself if you can see a fox body painted that color, and ask yourself if that color is the "direction" you want to go with your car.

White VERY easy to paint and keep looking nice, and if you change the color--you'll have to do it right--door jambs and all, or it will look like poo. That type of paint job is not going to be cheap (time consuming).

paint the molding white gives it a more custom look!!!!!!......only ones i would leave white with black molding are 4 eye years:thumbsup1:

I would leave your car white. Not a big fan of changing colors on cars and I would paint the molding. It looks so much better that way. Also if you do go with black I recently painted my car which is black and went with the mercedes black intead of ford and you can tell a major difference. More of a darker black which stands out a whole lot more. Good luck on your car!
