Difference in fox body seat

I ordered a set of latemodel resto seat covers for my 92 coupe which is what year the car is. The upholestry man got the rear seats done and looks great, and the bottom of one of the front seats. Well he started the top section of the front seat and it was no where near being right. The seats I took to him to be recovered were from a 87-89 mustang. I knew the head rest were different and I supplied 90-93 headrests. So my question is, which I think i got my answer. 87-89 tweed seats are taller and little wider than 90-93 correct?

Yes. 83-89 sport seats (non Recaro) are the same INCLUDING SVO seats. The only difference in an SVO seat is the foam. You can buy SVO foam and put it right on any 84,85 etc. sport seat.
In 1990 due to complaints about people not being able to see, Ford cut the headrests way down AND also the seat frame is about 2 inches shorter.

I went with the titanium interior. Not a perfect match tp factory but looks ALOT better. Ill post pic whenever I get them back

84-89 are the same. You are correct on the 92-93, no adjustable thigh support.
