i don't know anything about mass air, where can i find out all about it? is more better? when do you go to a bigger size and how do you know the size you need? does it work with nitrous , turbo charger or superchargers the best? please help, thank you

The best answer is it depends....on what your plans are. The M/A is sized to the injectors in the car, so if you need more injector, you need more M/A. That is the simple answer. On forced induction, it still is sized to the injectors, but you have the opition of a blow thru( after the forced induction) or draw thru( before the forced induction). On 99% of the nitrous setups, it has no effect. From that point on, I would have to have a idea of what your plans are for the car.

As far as the physical size of the unit itself, I usually tell folks to go slightly larger than the planned T/B size. If the intake you plan to use has a 70mm throat, and you plan to use a 70mm T/B, then go with a 76mm MAF calibrated to whatever size injectors you plan to run. Tha above info on blow through, or draw through type meters is a good general statement as well. Some cars with blowers/turbos can get finicky one way or the other, but the nitrous cars never seem to mind at all...
