Ok I have a set of ponys on my car and right now they have a set of 225 60's on them, the car is close to rubbing in the front. I'm also about to install my lowering springs. I have FRPP C springs, they are listed to lower 1" in the front and .875" in the back. I'm looking for something with pretty good grip and traction in the rain. I'm looking for recommendations on size, brand, and, series. Thanks in advance

If wet weather and not scrubbing is more of the concern I'd put the stock size back on them. 225/55/16's.
Personally I'd use 245/50/16's to make it look a little beefier. They'll probably scrub a touch up front if you turn full lock hard especially on a 90 and older car with the smaller fender openings.(not sure what year yours is?)
Best tires I ever had all around and in the wet too were BFG KDW's with the feathered looking tread pattern. Bad thing is they don't make them in those sizes above.

My car came with the 245-50-16 tires when I first got it, and it still had Pony wheels on it. It only rubbed when you turned the wheel to to stop point. I just learned not to turn that hard.
As for what tires to put on it now I suggest the Nexen 3000 tires highly. I have them all the way around on my car and they are excellent rain tires. They are a little harder compound so they are junk on the track, but for everyday street driving I give them :thumbsup2:

The 245/50 SHOULD only scrub on full turn and if you have a GT. Nexen makes a decent tire. BFG KDWs are awesome tires. Expensive and noisy.

Ok what kinda prices you got on a few different ones you suggest, I will sacrifice some wet weather traction for a good griping tire when its dry.

I have 245-50 "s on my ponies. I also have "C" springs, check my profile. The tires do not rub, the car handles great... The springs will beat you to death over long distances.

Teddy thanks for the input :thumbsup1: I havnt seen a car with c springs, I like the stance it has. Right now I have worn out factory 4 banger springs and worn out struts and it rubs, but I also have 225 60's on it. As soon as my shocks and struts come in from jeff ill be puttin the springs in.
