Email notifications

I reviewed all my user settings and it looks to me that I have 'email notification' set correctly, so I was wondering if this feature works or does this newbie have his settings wrong?

You are not the only one having issues with this, I don't receive any either. We need to get our web designer to look into this for us. Something probably not setup correctly in the software settings.

I agree. I don't get them either and I know far as the user control panel I have it set up right.

I talked with our computer guru tonight and he said that these setting need to be set up on your end of this. The ones on the site are good to go.. Let me know if any of ya'll have any more problems please!!!

Ive got mine set right but still not receiving email notifications when threads are replied too

yeah Ive checked mine several times the email addy is right and its set to instant email notification.

Yep...it's a site issue somewhere in the tangle of all the settings. Nobody gets them.

Yes, we had it looked into, thought it might have been fixed, but apparently not. Like Billy stated, for some reason they've never worked since the site was built. Were still going to look into this, and see if we can get them to start working properly.

All the settings are correct that notifications should be sent out, but for some reason it doesn't want to work.:headbang: Not going to give up on the issue though.

It is tough as a vendor to not know that a potential customer has posted something to one of my threads. It makes me appear unresponsive.

Also, if the notifications were working I believe we would see a sharp increase in posts on this site, as the notifications are what keeps a "hot" topic rolling!

I suppose it may be the cost of the "tech time" that is holding this back?
Do we, as members need to take up a collection, or start a fund to help out?

Try going to USERCP and set up your email address.
Maybe there is an option that isn't set right in your profile.

Henrod, like Stan stated. Go to your UserCP then on the left go down to Edit Options and click on it, then scroll down the page and make sure you have e-mail notifications turned on.
