Here's the deal -
I REALLY dislike my suspension set up, and have a couple of questions, but first:
Here's what my current(sucky) set up is -
Steeda drag springs(dislike , and think this is the main Problem)
Tockico Illumini- these I'm indifferent on
full length sub frame (MM)
Steeda caster/camber plates
Steeda strut tower brace
Stock A-arms up front and looks like the previous owner replaced the rear upper & lower.

What I dont like is the "softness" of the springs. I feel like they are much to soft for how low the car sits . . .it looks great, but like i said to soft - and makes the car feel . . . ."mushy"?
The car also needs a ball joint replaced and the bushings look tired up front.

The 2 options Im considering are:
A) replace front a arms with tubular and go coil over. The cons here are the fact that this is expensive - and leaves me needing to address the rear which = more money still . . .:thumbsdown1:

B) replace front a arms with factory style (new bushings and ball joints) , pick up a set of H&R springs (opinions on those?) and be done with it.

The car is basically a daily driver . . .or at least i alternate between it and my lady's 93 cobra ;) , but i do want it to handle well!!

Which way would you guys go on this one ??? Would like to keep the budget south of 650 on this

Sorry for the long set up here . I definitely appreciate the input from my mustang brethren !!

Thanks guys . . .gals

I ran the H+R springs on my 99 and they were great for a DD. I even used the stock shocks and struts. They were nice and low but werent stiff as a board and were a great improvement over stock.

I had really good luck with Eibach Pro springs and sway bars, then most any aftermarket rear lower will do well, but I'm a fan of the '93 Cobra HD rear uppers from Ford(stock stamped steel with HD rubber bushings) for a street car.

That's the setup I had for my sig pic.

Never had Eibachs. . .I know they can get pretty low , but do they handle well? Do you know if they use a progressive rate??

I liked the H&R springs I had on my 02 GT and the 03 Cobra I had. Never had them on a fox though.

I have Eibach pro-kits on my 89 LX vert thats in my sig pic.
The ones that lower so much are the Eibach sport line springs...
Pro-kit's don't lower it as much. They are both progressive rate.

Pro-lit is rated to lower 1.2" front,1.0" rear
Sportline is 1.7",1.5"
